Average experience, everything you would expect.
Tried buying a movie using the app to view on smart TV. The app didn't allow me to use my gift card charging my cc instead. Their support services were useless putting the onus on me to either use another device to purchase movies or, get this, use another service!!!

Streaming on the cineplex app is garbage. I will not stream on the app again.
I watched dozens of movies at Cineplex theaters in Vancouver and they were great. I mean I'm not sure what other people expect from a theater but I made a lot of memories here.

Tried to rent a move which didn't work and, the help site was useless.
Ordered skip the dishes movie bundle. Can’t even watch a new release. Costs over $40 and it was a complete waste of money. You would think since I can’t go and watch a movie in person that anything would be available. Don’t recommend for anybody. Had to use a gift card to watch what we wanted it cost $30
I just rented a movie on cineplex.com, and I give this service a rating of 1 star. My only regret is that I can’t rate it even lower. The first half of the movie went fairly well, but in the second half, the movie is continually buffering, playing for 30 seconds, then buffering. I never have this issue with Netflix. It will be a long time before I rent another movie on cineplex.
I spent $14 on a new rental and it keeps buffering. I haven’t had this problem before and I think it might be because it’s a new rental. So you can be sure I won’t be spending $14 ever again for a new rental from Cineplex. I will wait until they either improve their streaming service or until the movies have been around for a while and less people are streaming at once. I won’t be wasting my money anymore.
I ordered a 4k HD movie and got less than 360p, way less. I can't even make out the person. And there is no resolution setting, no problem solving. So what a waste of scene points. This service is horrible.
Disgusted that this company has done nothing for the pandemic. They are charging $30 to see a new release now. Also I purchased a bundle of admit one tickets before the pandemic and cannot use online. Disgusted. You think a big company would honour their tickets sold for people to redeem online during a pandemic.
